Hi, guys.
Thank you for taking some time to read my very first blog post.
I thought I should do this because I know that taking care of hair extensions and keeping them looking healthy and new can be very tricky, especially for someone who is new to the whole thing.
Here I will be discussing why it is important to wash your hair with conditioner before you install it. A lot of people do not do this because they do not know about it. It is very important to invest in your hair from the very first day that you get it, ladies.
Why is co-washing important?
It is always a good idea to co-wash your hair before you install it and this is recommended for all human hair. Keep in mind, ladies, that this is human hair that was on someone else's head at some point and for your sake, you want to make sure it is clean. You also want to make sure that the hair is moisturized, softer, smoother and easier to manage prior to installation. Co-washing does this.
A lot of shampoos can be too harsh and strip your hair of all its moisture. This can cause, dryness, tangling and shedding.
Instead of using shampoo all the time, try using conditioner and deep condition your hair.
How often can I condition my hair?
You can condition your hair as often as you like!
It is recommended that you condition your hair 1 - 2 times a week for 15 - 30 minutes. The longer you deep condition it, the softer it becomes.
